{{short description|Submission grappling promotion}}
Metamoris is a defunct submission grappling and Brazilian jiu-jitsu promotion, founded by Ralek Gracie,{{cite web|url=http://fightland.vice.com/blog/why-were-psyched-to-watch-metamoris-4 |archive-url=https://web.archive.org/web/20140626030013/http://fightland.vice.com/blog/why-were-psyched-to-watch-metamoris-4 |url-status=dead |archive-date=June 26, 2014 |title=We're psyched to watch Metamoris 4 |publisher=Vice |access-date=2014-07-13}} and executive producer Eddie Marquez that organized events in Los Angeles, California. Live events of Metamoris were broadcast via internet pay-per-view around the world and via premium TV at Canal Combate in Brazil.
Regarded as a pioneer in professional submission grappling, the promotion had a series of difficulties leading to its closure, including mismanagement of funds, non-payment of athletes, objectionable comments made by Ralek Gracie, and resulting backlash.{{Cite web |last= |date=2016-10-25 |title=Eddie Bravo Comments On The Fall Of Ralek Gracie & Metamoris |url=https://www.bjjee.com/articles/eddie-bravo-comments-on-the-fall-of-ralek-gracie-metamoris/ |access-date=2023-11-15 |website=BJJ Eastern Europe |language=en-US}}{{Cite web |last=Teague |first=Hywel |date=Oct 24, 2016 |title=Ryron & Rener Gracie Issue Statement Urging 'Caution' Of Brother Ralek - FloGrappling |url=https://www.flograppling.com/articles/5057052-ryron-rener-gracie-issue-statement-urging-caution-of-brother-ralek |access-date=2023-11-15 |website=www.flograppling.com |language=en}}{{Cite web |last=Martin |first=Louis |date=2019-02-18 |title=Metamoris: The Successful Failure That Changed Everything |url=https://jiujitsutimes.com/metamoris-the-successful-failure-that-changed-everything/ |access-date=2023-11-15 |website=Jiu-Jitsu Times |language=en-US}}{{Cite web |date=2019-03-14 |title=Ralek Gracie Looks to Bring Metamoris Back to Life |url=https://bjjfanatics.com/blogs/news/ralek-gracie-looks-to-bring-metamoris-back-to-life |access-date=2023-11-15 |website=BJJ Fanatics |language=en}}{{Cite web |last=Leah |first=Chelsea |date=2020-10-15 |title=Throwback: Metamoris 1 Happened and Nothing Was Ever the Same |url=https://jitsmagazine.com/metamoris-1-happened-and-nothing-was-ever-the-same/ |access-date=2023-11-15 |website=Jitsmagazine.com |language=en-us}}
