Metapetrocosmea is a genus of flowering plants belonging to the family Gesneriaceae. It includes ten species native to southern China, Hainan, and Vietnam.

A 2022 phylogenetic and morphological study by Peng-Wei Li et al. concluded that genus Deinostigma should be included in Metapetrocosmea.Li, Peng-Wei & Fangpu, Liu & Han, Mengqi & Smith, James & Wang, Yin-Zheng. (2022). Molecular and Morphological Evidence Supports the Inclusion of Deinostigma into Metapetrocosmea (Gesneriaceae). Annals of the Missouri Botanical Garden. 10.3417/2022767.
