Methylomirabilaceae is a family of bacteria,{{Cite web |date=2023 |title=Family: Methylomirabilaceae |url=https://lpsn.dsmz.de/family/methylomirabilaceae |access-date=2024-02-23 |website=List of Prokaryotic names with Standing in Nomenclature |language=en |id=Record number: 42183}} represented by type genus Ca. Methylomirabilis. Represented most famously by the novel methane-oxidizing bacterium Ca. Methylomirabilis oxyfera,{{Cite journal |last1=Ettwig |first1=Katharina F. |last2=Butler |first2=Margaret K. |last3=Le Paslier |first3=Denis |last4=Pelletier |first4=Eric |last5=Mangenot |first5=Sophie |last6=Kuypers |first6=Marcel M. • Candidatus Methylomirabilis
  • MIZ14
  • MIZ17
  • SH765B-TzT-35
