Michael Apelgren (born 20 August 1984) is a Swedish handball coach and former player. Coaching career
Apelgren started his coaching career in 2014 as a player-coach for Elverum Håndball. After two years he ended his career as a player and continued coaching. He was six-time champion as coach of Elverum when he became coach of IK Sävehof in 2020.{{cite news | url=https://www.svd.se/a/gELRjJ/apelgren-en-timeout-ar-lite-showoff | title=Apelgren: "En timeout är lite 'showoff'" | newspaper=Svenska Dagbladet | date=13 January 2023 | last1=Larsson | first1=Micke }} In the summer of 2022, he became assistant coach to head coach Glenn Solberg of the Swedish men's national team.

Personal life
