Kickboxing career

=Early career=

Takanashi made her professional debut against Hyo Sun Kim at Max FC 13: In Iksan, on April 21, 2018. She won the fight by unanimous decision.{{cite web |last1=Lee |first1=Seok-Moo |title='간호사 파이터' 김효선, 20개월 만의 복귀전서 눈물 |url=https://www.edaily.co.kr/news/read?newsId=02240246619178416&mediaCodeNo=258 |website=edaily.co.kr |date=21 April 2018 |access-date=9 June 2021}}

Takanashi was scheduled to make her professional debut against Yu Fukuhara at KHAOS 6. The fight was marked by Takahashi's volume and pressure, which seemed to overwhelm Fukuhara from the very beginning of the fight. The fight ended by a third-round knockout, after Takanashi countered Fukuhara's front kick with a right hook. She poured on punches on her staggered opponent, forcing the referee to stop the bout.{{cite web |title=女子アトム級の新星・高梨knuckle美穂がデビュー戦でKO勝ち【9・1 KHAOS】 |url=https://www.tokyoheadline.com/418510/ |website=tokyoheadline.com |date=September 2018 |access-date=9 June 2021}}

After her debut victory, it was announced that Takahashi would challenge the reigning Krush Atomweight champion Emi Matsushita. However, Matsushita refused to fight Takanashi, stating that a rookie in the organization shouldn't be entitled to title shot so soon. Accordingly, Matsushita was stripped of the title.{{cite web |title=松下えみ、Krush女子アトム級王座を返上。挑戦者選定に不満 |url=http://www.boutreview.com/3/news/item_13780.html |website=boutreview.com |date=25 October 2018 |access-date=9 June 2021}}
