Mimi of Nachtigal, or Mimi-N, is a language of Chad that is attested only in a word list labelled "Mimi" that was collected {{Circa|1870}} by Gustav Nachtigal. Nachtigal's data was subsequently published by Lukas & Voelckers (1938).{{cite journal |last1=Lukas |first1=Johannes |first2=Otto |last2=Völckers |author-link2=Otto Völckers |year=1938 |title=G. Classification

Joseph Greenberg (1960) classified it as a Maban language, though a distant one. Subsequent researchers have supported a remote relationship, though there is little data to go on.{{cite journal |last=Starostin |first=George |url=https://rggu.academia.edu/GeorgeStarostin/Papers/983014/On_Mimi |title=On Mimi |journal=Journal of Language Relationship |volume=6 |year=2011 |pages=115–140|doi=10.31826/jlr-2011-060111 |doi-access=free }}
