Early history
The software was originally developed at UBS AG{{cite news|title=Microsoft To Buy Corporate Group Chat Provider|url=http://www.informationweek.com/microsoft-to-buy-corporate-group-chat-provider/d/d-id/1058664?|agency=Information Week|publisher=Information Week|date=30 August 2007}} as an internal group chat solution. The product was sold to Parlano Inc, in the year 2000.
History and Acquisition
Upon the acquisition of Parlano by Microsoft{{cite web|website=Microsoft|title=Microsoft to Acquire Parlano|url=http://news.microsoft.com/2007/08/29/microsoft-to-acquire-parlano/|date=2007-08-29}} in 2007. Microsoft sold MindAlign 6 (the latest released version at that time) to Aditi Technologies Ltd in the same year.
