Early life and career

Haque was born to her parents Meter Billah and Mina Billah.{{cite news|url=http://archive.thedailystar.net/magazine/2011/04/05/interview.htm|title=A Reticent Freedom Fighter|date=29 April 2011|accessdate=11 April 2016|newspaper=The Daily Star|author=Tamanna Khan}} Haque started dancing at the age of 5.{{cite news|url=http://www.thedailystar.net/news-detail-115684|title=Minu Haque: The golden days of childhood|date=27 November 2009 |accessdate=11 April 2016|newspaper=The Daily Star}} She was a trained by Dulal Talukder. Later she joined Bulbul Academy of Fine Arts (BAFA) in 1967. She completed her matriculation in 1968 from Motijheel Girl's High School.

Personal life

Haque is married to Shahudul Haque.
