Usage
Around 35 million devices have run on Mobilinux, mainly in Asian markets. LWN.net argued that because it was controlled by a single company and targeted mobile operators, it did not generated a large developer community.{{Cite web|title=Symbian to be another open mobile platform [LWN.net]|url=https://lwn.net/Articles/287330/|access-date=2021-05-18|website=lwn.net}} It has been used on smartphones and NAS devices. The Motorola used Mobilinux in their MotoMagx OS, for example Motorola ROKR.{{Cite web|last=Webwereld|first=Redactie|title=6 geflopte mobiele besturingssystemen|url=https://webwereld.nl/nieuws/smartphones/6-geflopte-mobiele-besturingssystemen-3772840/|access-date=2021-05-18|website=Webwereld}}
