Mockina is an extinct genus of Late Triassic (mid Norian-early Rhaetian) conodonts. Several species of Mockina are used as index fossils for the Alaunian (middle Norian) and Sevatian (late Norian) substages of the Triassic.{{Citation|last1=Rigo|first1=Manuel|title=New Upper Triassic Conodont Biozonation of the Tethyan Realm|date=2018|url=https://www.researchgate.net/publication/321135935|work=The Late Triassic World: Earth in a Time of Transition|pages=189–235|editor-last=Tanner|editor-first=Lawrence H.|series=Topics in Geobiology|place=Cham|publisher=Springer International Publishing|language=en|doi=10.1007/978-3-319-68009-5_6|isbn=978-3-319-68009-5|last2=Mazza|first2=Michele|last3=Karádi|first3=Viktor|last4=Nicora|first4=Alda|hdl=11577/3258473 |hdl-access=free}} One species, Mockina bidentata, is considered to be ancestral to Misikella and Parvigondolella, some of the last known genera of conodonts.{{Cite journal|last1=Karádi|first1=Viktor|last2=Cau|first2=Andrea|last3=Mazza|first3=Michele|last4=Rigo|first4=Manuel|date=2020-07-01|title=The last phase of conodont evolution during the Late Triassic: Integrating biostratigraphic and phylogenetic approaches|url=http://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S0031018218301767|journal=Palaeogeography, Palaeoclimatology, Palaeoecology|series=Global Events impacting conodont evolution|language=en|volume=549|pages=109144|doi=10.1016/j.palaeo.2019.03.045|bibcode=2020PPP...54909144K|s2cid=134898058|issn=0031-0182}} Mockina has occasionally been synonymized with Epigondolella based on the assumption that it represents Epigondolella specimens which live in resource-poor environments. Mockina/Epigondolella multidentata has occasionally been considered to belong to its own genus, Orchardella.
