The language attached to the code "mey" should be spelt as Hassaniya (and not Hassaniyya) in consistency with English Wikipedia and local language uses. Tidjani Saleh (talk) 21:16, 2 July 2024 (UTC)
:Not done. The data in this module are taken from the IANA [https://www.iana.org/assignments/language-subtag-registry/language-subtag-registry language-subtag-registry file]. IANA gets much of its base data from ISO 639-3. The ISO 639-3 custodian spells the name 'Hassaniyya' so IANA does the same; see [https://iso639-3.sil.org/code/mey mey]
at the custodian's website.

:Manual changes to this module will be overwritten and lost at the next IANA update.
