Interstate shields
Shouldn't the shields for California Interstate highways look like the ones actually used in Cali? Why are we using generic shields for Interstates and Interstate Business Routes in that state? Greggens (talk) 19:33, 13 June 2017 (UTC)
:Because at 20px tall, you can't read the California legend anyway. The generic signs, which were created from California's guide sign spec ([http://www.dot.ca.gov/trafficops/tcd/docs/G27-1.pdf link]), also have a larger number than the independent route markers. As for the Interstate business shields, Caltrans doesn't provide a spec for them. I don't see using the "generic" business shields as being that big of a deal. However, if we actually want California-specific business shields, I'll make a set to the G27-2 spec ([http://www.dot.ca.gov/trafficops/tcd/docs/G27-2.pdf link]) rather than using a previous version that wasn't even a good one. –Fredddie™ 20:34, 13 June 2017 (UTC)
