There are two main dialects. One is spoken in Wanambre ({{coord|-4.76412|145.340466|type:city_region:PG|name=Wanambre}}) and Mawet ({{coord|-4.748076|145.337669|type:city_region:PG|name=Mabet}}) villages, while another one is spoken in Tinami ({{coord|-4.774677|145.377246|type:city_region:PG|name=Tinami}}) and Kotakot ({{coord|-4.775134|145.378048|type:city_region:PG|name=Katekot}}) villages.
