Design
The obverse side of the coin features the Lion Capital of Ashoka with the inscription "Satyameva Jayate" in Hindi below it. The word "Bharat" in Hindi appears on the upper left periphery, while "India" is inscribed on the upper right periphery. On the reverse side, the central design displays a portrait of Mother Teresa. The upper left periphery bears the words "Mother Teresa" in Hindi, and the lower left periphery shows the word "Janmashati" (birth centenary) in Hindi. The right periphery is inscribed with "Birth Centenary" in English. Release

He presented the first issued coin and a copy of the souvenir to the then President of India, Smt.
