Mott is an extinct town in southern Howell County, in the Ozarks of southern Missouri.{{GNIS|735146|name=Mott (historical)}} The community was located on Missouri Route 17, approximately ten miles south of West Plains.Lanton, Missouri 7.5 Minute Topographic Quadrangle, USGS, 1983
