Mount Kuk ({{langx|it|Monte Cucco}} or Monte Cucco di Plava) is {{convert|612|m|ft|adj=mid|-high}} mountain in Slovenia, near the border with Italy. It is located northeast of Gorizia, near the village of Plave and on the southern edge of the Banjšice Plateau. Along with nearby {{ill|Mount Vodice|lt=Vodice|it|Monte Vodice|vertical-align=sup}} and {{ill|Sveta Gora (Slovenia)|lt=Sveta Gora|it|Monte Santo di Gorizia|vertical-align=sup}} it forms a mountain ridge along the course of the Isonzo. It was heavily contested by Italian and Austro-Hungarian troops during the battles of the Isonzo in World War I, and was located in Italy from 1918 to 1943.[https://www.storiaememoriadibologna.it/monte-cucco-kuk-slovenia-quota-611-1667-luogo Monte Cucco - Kuk (Slovenia), Quota 611][http://luoghi.centenario1914-1918.it/it/teatrodiguerra/monte-cucco-di-plava Monte Cucco di Plava]
