Muara Library ({{Langx|ms|Perpustakaan Muara}}) is a public library located in Muara in Brunei-Muara District, Brunei. Officially known in Malay as {{Lang|ms|Perpustakaan Dewan Bahasa dan Pustaka Muara}}, it is one of the public libraries operated by {{Lang|ms|Dewan Bahasa dan Pustaka Brunei}}.{{Cite web|url=http://www.dbplibrary.gov.bn/Themed/perp_seluruh_daerah.html|title=Perpustakaan DBP Seluruh Negara|website=www.dbplibrary.gov.bn|access-date=2017-12-19}}

History

The laying of foundation stone for the library building was held in a ceremony on 13 May 2004, which was officiated by the then Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports, {{Lang|ms|Awang Hussain bin Awang Mohd. Yusof}}.{{Cite web|url=http://www.dbplibrary.gov.bn/Themed/perp_muara.html|title=Perpustakaan Muara|website=www.dbplibrary.gov.bn|access-date=2017-12-19}} Its construction was completed by the following year, and the library was inaugurated on 8 December 2005 by the succeeding Minister, {{Lang|ms|Awang Mohammad bin Daud}}.
