Mud Factory created a music festival named Factory Fest, which held its first celebration on 30 January 2016 in Pančevo{{cite news |last1=Jovanović |first1=Petar |title=Preporod metala – Factory Fest u Pančevu |url=https://balkanrock.com/reportaze/preporod-metala-factory-fest-u-pancevu/ |accessdate=6 December 2018 |work=Balkanrock.com |date=31 January 2016}} and held a second celebration on 18 February in Vranje.{{cite news |last1=Stanković |first1=Jelena |title=Metal osvaja jug – Factory Fest u Vranju |url=https://balkanrock.com/vesti/najave/metal-osvaja-jug-factory-fest-u-vranju/ |accessdate=6 December 2018 |work=Balkanrock.com |date=18 February 2016}} Bass player Nemanja Stanković explained the concept of the festival in an interview:

{{blockquote|We came up with the idea to organize a festival where we would give the opportunity to the bands with whom we have had cooperation so far and which we did not have the opportunity to welcome, to play in Vranje. There are not many things happening here, especially related to the metal scene, so we thought the festival would be a good opportunity to change this since of course there is an audience. We have a little expanded the idea that the festival will be held wherever there are conditions for this, so we also included Pančevo.{{cite news |last1=Jovanović |first1=Petar |title=Nemanja Stanković i Milan Stefanović (Mud Factory): "Svašta očekujte od nas" |url=https://balkanrock.com/intervjui/nemanja-stankovic-i-milan-stefanovic-mud-factory-svasta-ocekujte-od-nas/ |accessdate=6 December 2018 |work=Balkanrock.com |date=19 April 2016}}}}

Musical style

Mud Factory initially played stoner metal, but are currently aligned to groove metal and death metal genres. Guitarist Milan Stefanović, however, has stated that the band did not "like to generalize their genre", and simply deem themselves as a metal band.{{cite web |last1=Jocić |first1=Marko |title=Milan Stefanović (Mud Factory): "Mediji treba da obrate pažnju i na metal bendove" |url=https://balkanrock.com/intervjui/milan-stefanovic-mud-factory-mediji-treba-da-obrate-paznju-i-na-metal-bendove/ |website=Balkanrock.com |date=28 October 2013}} Serbian Metal Portal, a metal enthusiast website, has cited deathcore, stoner metal, and groove metal as sources for Mud Factory's music."{{cite web |title=Mud Factory – Born for Doom |url=https://www.serbian-metal.org/recenzije/1926/mud-factory-born-for-doom/ |website=Srpski Metal Portal |accessdate=5 December 2018 |language=sr-RS |date=30 September 2013}}

Mud Factory cites Machine Head, Lamb of God, DevilDriver, Whitechapel, Gojira, and Mastodon as influences.
