Early life and education

He was born in Biral Upazila, Dinajpur District. He passed his matriculation from Dinajpur Zila School in 1956. He completed his intermediate from Dhaka College. In 1963 he completed his B.Sc in civil engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology. Politics
