NGC 6590 is a reflection nebula in the constellation of Sagittarius.{{Cite web|url=https://apod.nasa.gov/apod/ap020918.html|title=APOD: 2002 September 18- A Sagittarius Starscape|website=apod.nasa.gov|access-date=2018-11-14}} This nebula is near the similar reflection nebula NGC 6589. Both nebulas are flanked by red emission nebula IC 1284.
