Purulia district forms the lowest step of the Chota Nagpur Plateau. Demographics
According to the 2011 Census of India Nabagram had a total population of 5,963 of which 3,105 (52%) were males and 2,858 (48%) were females. There were 794 persons in the age range of 0–6 years.
