Namibia Nature Foundation, established in 1987, is a non-profit and non-governmental organisation located in Windhoek, Namibia. History
Namibia Nature Foundation was registered under a deed of trust with the Master of the Namibian High Court in 1987. Its initial purpose was to help the Namibian government Department of Nature Conservation to raise and administer funds for the conservation of wildlife as well as protected area management.{{Cite web |title=Our Journey – Namibia Nature Foundation |url=https://nnf.org.na/our-journey/ |access-date=2024-11-19 |language=en-US}} The organisation is governed by a Board of Trustees.
Projects
The Namibia Nature Foundation supports projects working in a wide range of programme areas and cross-cutting principles within the general areas of transboundary conservation initiatives, community based natural resource management, environmental education and social ecology.
Funding
