Reception
=Critical response=
Shyam Prasad S from Bangalore Mirror Wrote "Komal does his job well.There are no histrionics with everything cut to the point. But also being the producer seems to have burdened him a bit.Harish Raj never gets stranded in any character. He proves he can do any kind of role".{{Cite web|url=https://bangaloremirror.indiatimes.com/entertainment/reviews/film-review-namo-bhootatma/articleshow/45315216.cms |title=Film Review: Namo Bhootatma |date=29 November 2014|work=Bangalore Mirror|language=en|access-date=28 October 2023|archive-url=https://web.archive.org/web/20231029153046/https://bangaloremirror.indiatimes.com/entertainment/reviews/ranveer-singh-ali-zafar-parineeti-chopra-govinda/articleshowajax/45150777.cms?version=18&enforceseoatarticle=0&lastarticle=45125779&photocount=9&photoexclude=6 |archive-date=29 October 2023}} A reviewer of The Hans India Wrote "A pacy movie with good sound effects. Telugu comedian Ali as ghostbuster is perhaps the highlight of the movie. He was last seen in Upendra's Super. Horror with comedy is more experimented in Telugu movies, this attempt in Kannada is commendable. A must watch for all Komal fans".{{Cite web|url=https://www.thehansindia.com/posts/index/Cinema/2014-11-28/Namo-Bhootatma-review-rating/118434 |title=Namo Bhootatma review |date=28 November 2014|work=The Hans India|language=en|access-date=28 October 2023|archive-url=https://web.archive.org/web/20231029153804/http://web.archive.org/screenshot/https://www.thehansindia.com/posts/index/Cinema/2014-11-28/Namo-Bhootatma-review-rating/118434 |archive-date=29 October 2023}}
