Career

Born in Sendai, Masuda attended Nihon University. While there, he started riding for Team Miyata, as well as provided the power for the university's human-powered aircraft.{{cite web|title=Masuda Nariyuki 'Nyūin to rihabiri fushō kara no kamubakku'|url=http://www.cyclowired.jp/?q=node/82121|work=Cyclowired|access-date=21 October 2012}}
