Nathaniel Barnett Jr. (born January 29, 1953) is an American retired basketball player. He played collegiately for the University of Akron{{cite book|last1=Pluto|first1=Terry|title=Loose Balls|date=1990|publisher=Fireside|location=New York|isbn=978-0-671-67390-1|page=198|edition=1|url=https://books.google.com/books?id=G_FAzZA07tUC&q=Nate+Barnett+ABA&pg=PA198|access-date=21 January 2018|ref=Pluto}} and was selected by the Houston Rockets in the 7th round (119th pick overall) of the 1975 NBA draft.
