David Neil Salathiel (born 19 November 1962) is a Welsh former professional footballer who played as a defender. Career

Salathiel was signed by Wrexham from the Sheffield Wednesday youth team.{{Hugman|17391|accessdate=14 April 2020}} However, he only made four appearances for the club before leaving for Crewe Alexandra in 1981.

Salathiel then signed for South African club Arcadia Shepherds, but returned to Wrexham after less than a year, where he would spend 7 years, making 240 league appearances for the Welsh club.
