Description
N. bronwynae is deep-red in colour and has a pyriform carapace having been measured as large as {{Convert|220.0|mm|in|abbr=on}} in length and {{Convert|155.9|mm|in|abbr=on}} in width. The dorsal surfaces of its carapace, chelipeds, and walking legs are covered in long, slender spines with granules inbetween. Long spines similarly cover its abdomen, and its underside is covered with tubercles and stout spines. It most closely resembles N. vinogradovi and N. duhameli.
