Neomixis is a genus of small forest birds that are endemic to Madagascar.

The genus was introduced by the English zoologist Richard Bowdler Sharpe in 1881. The type species is the stripe-throated jery (Neomixis striatigula).{{ cite journal | last=Sharpe | first=Richard Bowdler | author-link=Richard Bowdler Sharpe | year=1881 | title=On a new genus of Timeliidae from Madagascar, with remarks on some other genera | journal=Proceedings of the Zoological Society of London | volume=1881 | pages=195–197 [195] | url=https://www.biodiversitylibrary.org/page/30759328 }} The genus was formerly placed in the Old World babbler family but is now considered to belong to the family Cisticolidae.

Species

The genus includes three species:{{cite web| editor1-last=Gill | editor1-first=Frank | editor1-link=Frank Gill (ornithologist) | editor2-last=Donsker | editor2-first=David | year=2017 | title=Babblers & fulvettas | work=World Bird List Version 7.3 | url=http://www.worldbirdnames.org/bow/babblers/ | publisher=International Ornithologists' Union | access-date=25 August 2017 }}

Another species the wedge-tailed jery (Hartertula flavoviridis) was until recently placed in this genus but biochemical studies suggest its true relationships lie elsewhere.
