Neurotech is a Slovenian independent industrial metal project based in Ljubljana, known for its stylistic blend of electronics and metal.
History
Formed by multi-instrumentalist/vocalist Wulf (real name: Andrej Vovk) in 2007, Neurotech started off as a full band with a heavier sound than their later albums in their debut EP Transhuman, released in 2008, and their debut album Antagonist, released in 2011, both stylistically compared to Sybreed and melodic death metal bands Disarmonia Mundi and Insomnium. Those two releases were followed by a string of EPs; Blue Screen Planet (2011), Decipher Vol. 1, Decipher Vol. 2 (2012), Decipher Vol. 3 (then-unreleased), and The Elysian Symphony (2013). The Decipher volumes were compiled in an album titled The Decipher Volumes, released in 2013.{{cite web|url=https://metalinjection.net/bandcamp-buried-treasure/slovenias-neurotech-crafts-heavy-cyber-metal-with-a-very-human-twist |title=Slovenia's NEUROTECH Crafts Heavy Cyber Metal With A Very Human Twist |website=Metal Injection |date=2014-05-02 |accessdate=2025-01-14}} Several singles were released from those albums including "Inject Me Now" from Antagonist on 27 December 2010,{{cite web|url=https://metalitalia.com/articolo/neurotech-ascolta-la-nuova-inject-me-now/ |title=NEUROTECH: listen to the new “Inject Me Now” |website=Metalitalia.com |date=2010-12-27 |accessdate=2025-01-14}} "Unconditional" (featuring Tanja Ravljen) from Decipher Vol. 2 on 25 June 2012,{{cite web|url=https://metalstorm.net/events/news_comments.php?news_id=17116 |title=Neurotech - New Single Available For Streaming |website=Metal Storm |date=2012-06-25 |accessdate=2025-01-14}} and "Triumph" from Decipher Vol. 3 on 22 April 2013.{{cite web|url=https://metalstorm.net/events/news_comments.php?news_id=19796 |title=Neurotech - New Single Streaming Online |website=Metal Storm |date=2013-04-22 |accessdate=2025-01-14}} "The Elysian Symphony" was released on 25 December 2013, a 17-minute instrumental composition which "combines several musical genres into a coherent whole.
