Newscoop (formerly Campsite) is a free and open source multilingual content management system for news websites.{{cite web |url=http://campsite.sourcefabric.org |title=Sourcefabric |website=Campsite.sourcefabric.org |access-date=2016-06-21 |archive-url=https://archive.today/20130415224320/http://campsite.sourcefabric.org/# |archive-date=2013-04-15 |url-status=dead}} Its localizable user interface was built with journalists, editors and publishers in mind, rather than computer experts,[http://www.linux.com/archive/feed/137682]{{dead link |date=June 2016}} and it can be configured to suit different profiles of end users. Newscoop follows a newspaper publishing model, so it structures sites by default as Publications, Issues, Sections and Articles, rather than nodes or objects. Newscoop is intended for medium-to-large-size online news publications, but it can be used to manage content for smaller sites too. Newscoop allows the management of multiple journalists and publications from a single interface.{{cite web |url=http://www.tectonic.co.za/2010/06/campsite-refresh-for-professional-oss-publishing-platform/ |title=Refresh for open source Campsite publishing platform : Tectonic - the Source for Open Source News |access-date=August 12, 2010|url-status=dead |archive-url=https://web.archive.org/web/20100608064958/http://www.tectonic.co.za/2010/06/campsite-refresh-for-professional-oss-publishing-platform/ |archive-date=June 8, 2010}}
