Education and early career

She then pursued her graduate studies at the California Institute of Technology, where she completed her M.S. in Chemical Engineering in 2004 and her Ph.D. in 2007 under the supervision of John H. Seinfeld and Richard C. Following her Ph.D., Ng worked as a postdoctoral scholar at the California Institute of Technology (2007-2008) and then as a postdoctoral scientist at Aerodyne Research (2008-2010). Ng joined the Georgia Tech faculty in 2011.
