Nicholas John Chatterton (born 18 May 1954),{{cite book|title=Crystal Palace: A Complete Record 1905–2011|last=King|first=Ian|date=April 2012|page=534|publisher=The Derby Books Publishing Company|isbn=9781780910468}} is an English retired footballer who played as a midfielder in the Football League. Chatterton was born in South Norwood, London.

Chatterton started his career in 1973 at Crystal Palace, where he was the son of the club's groundskeeper Len Chatterton. In November 1978,{{cite book|last1 =Purkiss|first1 =Mike|last2 =Sands|first2 =Nigel|title=Crystal Palace: A Complete Record 1905–1989|year =1990|publisher =The Breedon Books Publishing Company|page=320|isbn=0907969542}} he moved to neighbouring south London club, Millwall. In 1986, he moved to Colchester United, where he finished his career.
