Nicotiana obtusifolia, or desert tobacco, is a plant native to the southwestern United States{{Cite web| url = https://plants.usda.gov/java/profile?symbol=NIOB | title = Nicotiana obtusifolia | work = PLANTS | access-date = 2008-02-02 }} (from California to Utah to Texas) and Mexico.

It is a woody perennial herb growing up to about {{convert|80|cm|in|0}} in maximum height. The leaves have blades up to {{convert|10|cm|in|0}} long, the lower ones borne on short petioles, the upper ones smaller and clasping the stem. The funnel-shaped flower is white or green-tinged, its tubular throat up to {{convert|2.6|cm|in|0}} long.
