Nidd is a small village and civil parish in the county of North Yorkshire, England. The population of the village taken at the 2011 census was 168.{{cite web|url=http://www.neighbourhood.statistics.gov.uk/dissemination/LeadKeyFigures.do?a=7&b=11126990&c=HG3+3BB&d=16&e=62&g=6454409&i=1001x1003x1032x1004&m=0&r=0&s=1438614674068&enc=1|title=Parish population 2011|accessdate=3 August 2015}} It is situated 3 miles north of Harrogate, {{convert|2|km|order=flip}} east of Ripley{{cite web|title=History of Nidd|url=http://www.visionofbritain.org.uk/place/13831|website=Vision of Britain|accessdate=22 July 2016}} on the B6165 Pateley Bridge to Knaresborough road and near the River Nidd. The village used to have a railway station (Nidd Bridge) on the Leeds to Northallerton Railway, but this was closed down on 18 June 1962.{{cite web|title=Nidd Bridge|url=http://www.disused-stations.org.uk/n/nidd_bridge/index.shtml|website=Disused stations|accessdate=22 July 2016}}

Until 1974 it was part of the West Riding of Yorkshire.{{Cite web |title=History of Nidd, in Harrogate and West Riding |url=https://www.visionofbritain.org.uk/place/13831 |access-date=15 April 2025 |website=A Vision of Britain}} From 1974 to 2023 it was part of the Borough of Harrogate, it is now administered by the unitary North Yorkshire Council.

The village takes its name from the River Nidd which passes through the parish.{{cite web|title=Nidd|url=http://www.genuki.org.uk/big/eng/YKS/WRY/Nidd/Nidd68.html|website=genuki|accessdate=22 July 2016}} The parish church of St Paul & St Margaret{{cite web|title=St Paul & St Margaret Nidd|url=https://www.achurchnearyou.com/nidd-st-paul-st-margaret/|website=A church near you|publisher=Church of England|accessdate=22 July 2016}} has a stone monument to the Rawson family, who owned Nidd Hall in the 19th, and the early part of the 20th centuries. Until 1889, Nidd was part of the Liberty of Ripon.
