Nieuwerkerke (also: Nieuwerkerke Schutje) is a hamlet in the Dutch province of Zeeland. It is a part of the municipality of Schouwen-Duiveland, and lies about 3 km southwest of Brouwershaven.ANWB Topografische Atlas Nederland, Topografische Dienst and ANWB, 2005.

Nieuwerkerke is not a statistical entity,{{cite web |url=https://www.cbs.nl/-/media/_excel/2021/48/kwb-2021.xls |title=Kerncijfers wijken en buurten 2021 |website=Central Bureau of Statistics |access-date=21 April 2022|quote=not found}} and the postal authorities have placed it under Kerkwerve.{{cite web|url=https://postcodebijadres.nl/4321 |title=Postcode 4321 in Kerkwerve |website=Postcode bij adres |access-date=21 April 2022 |language=nl}} It was home to 140 people in 1840. Nowadays, it consists of a handful of houses. Nieuwerkerke was a separate municipality until 1813, when it was merged with Kerkwerve.{{Repertorium Nederlandse Gemeenten}}

Nieuwerkerke should not be confused with Nieuwerkerk, a larger village on the same island.
