Nobuteru Mori was a Japanese businessman and politician who founded Showa Denko, a leading Japanese chemical engineering firm, in the 1930s.{{cite news|title=Japanese activist, ex-first lady Mutsuko Miki dies at 95|url=http://www.japantimes.co.jp/text/nn20120804b7.html |work=Kyodo |publisher=Japan Times |date=2011-08-04 |access-date=2012-07-31}} He was also a member of the Japanese House of Representatives.

Mori was the father of Mutsuko Miki, an activist and former First Lady, and the father-in-law of former Japanese Prime Minister Takeo Miki.
