Geography
Nocciano is located in the hilly hinterland of the Pescara River valley, approximately 25 km from the provincial capital Pescara. It lies at an elevation of about 301 meters above sea level and covers an area of 13 km². History
Nocciano’s origins date back to the Middle Ages. The town developed around a feudal stronghold that would later become the Castello di Nocciano.
