History
Northfields Depot was built for the western extension of the Piccadilly line and opened on 4 July 1932. Construction of the depot required the existing Northfields station to be rebuilt nearer to South Ealing station.{{cite book |last1=Horne |first1=Mike |title=The Piccadilly Tube – A History of the First Hundred Years |date=2007 |publisher=Capital Transport |location=London |isbn=978-1-85414-305-1 |page=55}}
