Norwegian Forest and Landscape Institute

The Norwegian Forest and Landscape Institute ({{langx|no|Norsk institutt for skog og landskap}}) was a research institute based in Norway.

Organizationally subordinate to the Norwegian Ministry of Agriculture and Food, it is autonomous in its research.{{cite web|url=http://www.skogoglandskap.no/english/index.html|title=Information in English|publisher=Norwegian Forest and Landscape Institute|accessdate=28 May 2009}} It was established on 1 July 2006 through a merger of the Norwegian Forest Research Institute ({{lang|no|Norsk institutt for skogforskning}}) and the Norwegian Institute of Land Inventory ({{lang|no|Norsk institutt for jord- og skogkartlegging}}). The director is Arne Bardalen.
