Novodonetske ({{Langx|uk|Новодонецьке}}) is a rural settlement in Kramatorsk Raion, Donetsk Oblast, eastern Ukraine. Geography
Novodonetske is located on the banks of the Vodiana river, a tributary of the Samara.
History
Novodonetske was founded in 1956 in connection with the construction of a mine. Four years later, the settlement was given the status of urban-type settlement.Notice in the "News of the Verkhovna Rada of the Ukrainian SSR" about changes in the administrative-territorial division in 1960 // TsDAVO of Ukraine. Until 18 July 2020, Novodonetske was located in Dobropillia Municipality, The municipality was abolished on that day as part of the administrative reform of Ukraine, which reduced the number of raions of Donetsk Oblast to eight, of which only five were controlled by the government.{{Cite news|title=Про утворення та ліквідацію районів. Until 26 January 2024, Novodonetske was designated urban-type settlement.
