Nungessers is the name of the confluence of roads that meet at the Hudson and Bergen county line at North Bergen and Fairview in northeastern New Jersey. The area is the former site of the Nungesser's Gutenberg Racetrack, a late 19th-century gaming and gambling venue.{{Cite book|last= Schlegel| first = Charles| title = Schlegel's American families of German Ancestry in the United States|publisher= Genealogical Publishing| year = 2003| location = Baltimore| pages = 176| url = https://books.google.com/books?id=c_kphj4KlVkC&q=nungessers+hudson&pg=PA176|isbn = 0-8063-1728-0}}{{cite web|url=http://colinsghost.org/2010/01/winter-racing-at-new-jerseys-guttenberg-race-track-1885-1893.html|title=Winter Racing at New Jersey's Guttenberg Race Track, 1885-1893|author=Martin, Kevin|publisher=Colins Ghost: Thoroughbred Racing History|date=January 28, 2010|accessdate=August 14, 2021|archive-date=July 25, 2011|archive-url=https://web.archive.org/web/20110725185629/http://colinsghost.org/2010/01/winter-racing-at-new-jerseys-guttenberg-race-track-1885-1893.html}} The neighborhood just south of Nungesser's is called the Racetrack Section and the municipality of Guttenberg is nearby.
