The band's style has been compared to that of Wardruna and Danheim with added traditional throat singing{{Cite web|url=http://t-arts.com/nytt-land-odal/|title=Rezension: Nytt Land – Odal|last=Angenent|first=von Katja|date=2018-07-30|website=T-Arts|language=de-DE|access-date=2020-02-25}} and handmade traditional instruments such as the Kantele and the Talharpa. The band have stated they are inspired by the sounds of Siberian nature, and their records have included live recordings of raven calls and other forest sounds.
