Distribution
There are few records of this organism, but it has been reported living within the North Pacific waters, and is thought to have a much wider distribution than that.{{Cite journal|last=Sanamyan|first=N.P.|date=2018|title=First record of two genera of sea anemones (Cnidaria: Actiniaria), Octineon and Edwardsiella, from the North Pacific Ocean |journal=Invertebrate Zoology|volume=15|pages=1–18|doi=10.15298/invertzool.15.1.01 |doi-access=free}} It is difficult to identify due to the fact that it's usually flat against bedrock on the sea floor.

- Octineon chilense Carlgren, 1959
