Modern Criticism
Jaap Mansfeld argures that the work's style of argumentation may have been influenced by the Pyrrhonist modes of Agrippa the Skeptic.Jaap Mansfeld DE MELISSO XENOPHANE GORGIA: Pyrrhonizing Aristotelianism Rheinisches Museum für Philologie Neue Folge, 131.
