Ideology

The One Australia Party was a conservative organisation.{{cite journal |last1=Ozdowski |first1=Sev |date=2014 |title=Australian Multiculturalism: the roots of its success |journal=Promoting Change in Times of Transition and Crisis |publisher=University of Western Sydney |page=14}} The politics of One Australia were based on populism and economic nationalism.{{cite journal |last1=Bosworth |first1= R. The agenda of the One Australia Party was said to be “openly racist".{{cite journal |last1=Mihalopoulos |first1=Bill |date=2004 |title=n/a |journal=The Journal of Asian Studies |volume=63 |issue=4 |page=1072}} Dr. Sev Ozdowski cites One Nation founder Pauline Hanson’s maiden speech to parliament to support the claim that One Australia held anti-Asian sentiments.{{cite journal |last1=Ozdowski |first1=Sev |date=2014 |title=Australian Multiculturalism: the roots of its success |journal=Promoting Change in Times of Transition and Crisis |publisher=University of Western Sydney |page=14}} R. J. B. Bosworth notes that “at least some” of the Party's backers held anti-Semitic and anti-Aboriginal sentiments.{{cite journal |last1=Bosworth |first1= R. J.
