Onepoto Bridge is a {{convert|46|m|ft||abbr=on}} long pedestrian and cyclist bridge crossing the tidal stream outlet of the Onepoto volcanic crater in Northcote, Auckland.

The bridge became necessary after widening of Onewa Road towards State Highway 1 made the existing bridge too narrow to accommodate footpaths. After deciding to build a new bridge, North Shore City Council resolved to construct an iconic structure that would create "architecture integrated into the landscape". This led to the bridge being encased with wooden curved 'ribs' described as resembling a whale skeleton, a wave or a half-finished sailing ship. The bridge was designed by Beca Group.Bridging the gap between art and utilityLG – New Zealand Local Government, volume 44 No 5, May 2008, Page 15[http://www.northshorecity.govt.nz/your_council/News_Releases/releases-05/December/Innovative-wave-design-for-bridge-across-Onepoto-Stream.htm Innovative wave design for bridge across Onepoto Stream] {{Webarchive|url=https://web.archive.org/web/20081015195613/http://www.northshorecity.govt.nz/your_council/news_releases/releases-05/December/Innovative-wave-design-for-bridge-across-Onepoto-Stream.htm |date=15 October 2008 }} (North Shore City Council press release, 8 December 2005. The bridge is also part of North Shore City's strategic cycle route network and is incorporated into efforts to improve access to the local estuarial area for the community.[http://www.scoop.co.nz/stories/AK0704/S00185.htm Design focus on new cycle/pedestrian path, bridge] (North Shore City Council press release, Thursday 19 April 2007, via 'scoop.co.nz'.
