Ora L. Strickland

Strickland grew up in Mount Airy, North Carolina where she was one of ten children in her family. Strickland has been a professor at the University of Maryland at Baltimore, the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, and North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University, Greensboro.
