Oreoglanis macroptera is a species of catfish in the family Sisoridae found in Myanmar and China.Ng, H.H. and W.J. Rainboth, 2001. A review of the sisorid catfish genus Oreoglanis (Siluriformes: Sisoridae) with descriptions of four new species. Occas. Pap. Mus. Zool. Univ. Mich. (732):1-34.

Etymology
