Osijek Pride is an LGBT pride march in the Croatian city of Osijek. Osijek is the third city in Croatia to get its LGBT pride, after Zagreb (2002) and Split (2011). The first Osijek Pride took place on 6 September 2014.{{cite web|url=http://www.vecernji.hr/hrvatska/prvi-osjecki-gay-pride-ljudi-stigli-cak-i-iz-srbije-i-grcke-959486 |title=Pogledajte kako je bilo na prvoj osječkoj Povorci ponosa |access-date=6 September 2014 |language=hr |work=Večernji list}}{{cite web |url=http://dalje.com/en-croatia/osijek-pride-passes-without-incident-economy-minister-welcomes-participant/521103 |title=Osijek Pride passes without incident, economy minister welcomes participant |access-date=6 September 2014 |archive-date=8 September 2014 |archive-url=https://web.archive.org/web/20140908020224/http://dalje.com/en-croatia/osijek-pride-passes-without-incident-economy-minister-welcomes-participant/521103 |url-status=dead }}{{cite web|url=http://www.24sata.hr/news/osijek-odrzava-se-prvi-pride-stize-i-ministar-ivan-vrdoljak-383045 |title=Osijek: Održan je prvi Pride, sve je prošlo bez incidenata |access-date=6 September 2014 |language=hr |work=24sata (Croatia)|date=6 September 2014 }}{{cite web|url=http://www.tportal.hr/vijesti/hrvatska/349465/Povorka-ponosa-krenula-ulicama-Osijeka.html |title=Osijek položio ispit tolerancije: Pride bez izgreda |access-date=6 September 2014 |language=hr}} Approximately 200 participants marched through the city center, accompanied by about 100 police officers, though their intervention was not needed.{{cite news |url=https://www.slobodnaevropa.org/a/prvi-osijek-pride-bez-incidenata/26569971.html |title=Prvi Osijek Pride bez incidenata |publisher=Radio Free Europe |author=Enis Zebić |newspaper=Radio Slobodna Evropa |date=6 September 2014 |access-date=7 August 2024 }} Concerns about possible disturbances from the football fan group "Kohorta" proved unfounded, as did calls for the city to be empty during the Pride. Notable attendees included Croatia's Minister of Economy, Ivan Vrdoljak, a native of Osijek, who expressed his support for the Pride and emphasized the importance of tolerance and understanding for the future. The event featured banners with messages advocating for LGBT rights and acceptance, such as "Inati se Slavonijo" ("Persist, Slavonia", famous regional song by Kićo Slabinac), "Homophobes, stay in your four walls," and "Why do you disown your own child?"
