Denis was born in Rennes. Thanks to his contributions in the form of novels, essays and linguistics, he contributed to the preservation of the written Breton language.Ouest France Dimanche, 31 juillet 2011, nécrologie de Pêr Denez, p. 4. He died in Romillé.
